To book please email us with your dates. Tell us a bit about yourself and what you would like to do while you are here.

If you would like to combine a charter with a few days of island accommodation we can arrange it for you. If you want to book diving, a kart tour, kayaking or fishing we can help you make arrangements.

Before you join us for your sailing vacation we will work with you to tailor your cruise to your individual needs. Advise us of your likes and dislikes for meals, tell us your preferences for drinks and activities and we will design a cruise that fits in everything you would like to do on your tropical vacation. We are happy to answer any questions you may have regarding visiting Vava'u. We are here to make sure this is your ideal tropical adventure.

Once we have confirmed your trip, we will send a contract with payment information. A 50% deposit will be required to hold the booking (balance due 30 days prior to charter start date).

International flights arrive in Nuku'alofa, Tongatapu, (TBU).

Three international airlines fly to Nuku'alofa:

Getting to Vava'u
After arriving in Nuku'alofa there is an easy domestic flight to Vava'u where Melinda Sea Adventures is based. Chathams Pacific Airlines has two flights daily between Nuku'alofa and Vava'u.

Air New Zealand, has flights from Auckland, New Zealand to Nuku'alofa, Tongatapu (TBU). There are also direct flights from LA and San Francisco to Auckland.

Visa

Visitors from most countries including New Zealand, UK, USA and Australia may enter Tonga without a visa for a period of 31 days. Travelers from some countries do require a visa. Check with your travel agent or contact the Tongan Immigration Department directly via visatonga@gmail.com or phone (676) 26 696 or (676) 26 970.

MAKE SURE THAT YOU HAVE AT LEAST 6 MONTHS LEFT ON YOUR PASSPORT OR YOU MAY BE DENIED ENTRY
